Grandfather T8aminik’s Inclusive Vision

Ancestral vision and inclusive approach

True to the vision of his father, Tom Rankin, and to his spiritual guide William Commanda, Grandfather T8aminik offers an extremely inclusive approach to cultural sharing. He advocates for openness toward those who feel drawn to Indigenous traditions, regardless of their backgrounds.

His Commitment to Healing and Evolving Consciousness

His schedule is filled with a myriad of activities, from traditional healing programs for First Nations members to healing retreats for everyone, as well as numerous talks and workshops in professional settings aimed at evolving consciousness, along with the advice he provides in various committees he belongs to.

Contributions to Organizations Co-Founded with Marie-Josée Tardif

Let us not forget the many efforts dedicated to the mission of the organizations founded alongside his partner Marie-Josée Tardif, namely the Kina8at organization and the Dominique Rankin Foundation.

Introduction to the KINA8AT Organization

The word kina8at (pronounced “kinawat”) means “together” in the Anicinape language. Thanks to the diverse talents of its team of facilitators, this non-profit organization offers training, awareness, and healing programs inspired by Indigenous philosophy and traditions. Activities are held at the Kina8at Cultural Center, 150 km north of Montreal, as well as wherever its teams are invited to share the rich universe of the First Nations.

Mission and Activities of the Dominique Rankin Foundation

The creation of the Dominique Rankin Foundation stems from a deep desire to build bridges between peoples and to help members of the First Nations stand tall through their own cultures. Its mission is similar to that of the Kina8at organization but aims for international outreach, as the needs of First Peoples are equally significant elsewhere in the world.
